Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire Council have also funded a desexing clinic to be delivered by tropical Vets on these same dates. They will be providing a desexing and emergency care clinic at the same time as our Prevention Visit.
What we need now is more parvo vaccinations and parasite protection tablets to keep as many community dogs as healthy as possible.

200+ dogs protected against parasites
24 desexing procedures completed
10+ severe injuries identified and treated
22+ kilometres walked delivering prevention directly across community
100+ educational conversations with pet owners and children
1 One Health workshop delivered
200+ brochures distributed
25 parvo vaccinations funded by supporters
120 months’ worth of parasite prevention funded
This is a coordinated effort designed to reduce suffering today and lower the risk of it happening again tomorrow.
